Son of William Oswald and Martha Maud Davies (brother of O.W. Davies and sister of H.M.G.Davies) of Penkhull, Stoke-on-Trent,Staffordshire.

Killed in action August 12th 1943.

W.K.Davies a brilliant career cut short, but his example & inspiration will live. He had no fear & in addition to a very natural charm of manner, he possessed that essential quality of leadership. His qualities of character endeared him to all that knew him. In whatever his choice lay he would have succeeded since he gave his utmost to whatever he undertook & was always appreciative of work 'well done'.
William Kelsal Davies ( Bill ) you have been sadly missed.
