What a brilliant resource! A fantastic example of the kind of thing that can be achieved with good intentions, hard work and skill.

My late father served with the 7th Battalion The Green Howards.
He told me of the death of his good friend William [Bill] Smart. I have now found the details of his grave from your excellent site. It\'s such a pity my father is\'nt here to see it.
Bill was killed standing next to my dad whilst marching along the road. Another friend was seriosly injured in the same bombing attack. My dad was completely uninjured. Such is fate,
