Posted by Cora D'Alfonso at 16/03/2011, 07:21:39What a wonderful way to commemorate Canadians who gave up their life for their country. My mothers cousins grave is located there and I plan to visit some day.
Posted by Fred Walter at 01/02/2011, 04:05:22Dear Friends,
Congratulations on an excellent web site.
I would like to ask your permission to use a photograph from your site on my web site. The photograph is the gravestone of Pte. Leslie Brimacombe, Plot A, Row G, Grave 97. Private Brimacombe is a distant relative of mine and the image would appear on my family history web site as follows: www.fredwalter.com
I look forward to your reply.
Regards,
Fred Walter.
Posted by Jonathan Biermann at 01/02/2011, 07:08:40Thank you for the site. Up until now all I had was a photo of the original marker for my uncle Andrew Huffs grave.
My mother thanked me and gave me a huge hug for finding this site and showing her the actual tombstone for her brother who died at war when she was only six.
Most if not all of my family will never make it over to Italy to visit the memorial cemetery in person, so this was the next best thing for them.
Thank you again.
